Bought them this night and went on soldering them immediately(I was just curious)....It was my first time soldering cells together and it was hard in very first cells but last cells were pretty easy to solder though....I'll charge them tomorrow to see what these beautiful batteries have ... : D
A little bit heavy huh? :D

HPI Nissan GT-R
HPI's releasing two versions of Nissan GT-R ;
Nissan R35 GT-R Spec V :
Nissan R35 GT-R Version NISMO:
They are off course not so impressive like Tamiya's GT-R but they have pretty good looking...I think HPI is improving it's quality in producing bodies ...29 January 2009
Skipped Belt and Worn Out Pulley
Two days ago I went to drift with my friends at a new parking lot..Surface was not so good , many small stones were covered the road and grip was not good at all.I set up a small track and we started drifting. After first battery pack has finished I changed the battery with a charged one and started drifting again....The car suddenly started having oversteer very much and at the same lap I saw that front wheels were not turning.Like I expected the belt was skipped and the pulley was worn out by a small gravel particle.

Today's Report
Today I went to practice with my friend...My chassis was TA05 of course and my friend's chassis was a TB03 which is slightly modified...I set up a more complex track compared to previous tracks to test the TB03.I am totally shocked that my TA05 was very good today...I tested the car with two different battery packs, first with heavier 4600mah then with lighter 3600mah;This test showed me that my driving style prefers to drift a heavier car.Heavier car feels a little bit more settled in and I love the chassis to stick on the ground..Second test of the day with my TA05 was using HPI's T-Drift Falken Replicas; At first glance the car was way more responsive than the original T-Drifts which lead to an increased angles at switch-backs and in between corners..After a couple of laps I don't know why but the car was just like when it was with the original T-Drifts.This may be because of the tires got heated or I just got used to them....After all I did like the increased angle and the use of more counter-steering but I'm not going to USE them anyways ..These was about the TA05 but there was another test I did.....
TB03(T-Drift,Checkpoint Money 19T ); It was the most responsive car I have ever drifted....Lots of turning made the driving hard to get used but in a few laps I got used very much to the car that driving the TA05 afterwards came strange to me...To sum up TB03 has the potential to be a very good drift car if it has soft springs...
It was a good day :D

Tamiya's New Stickers
Tamiya's newest stickers(not counted the TB03D decals as they only come with the kit) have arrived to me.Item number 84033,Marking Sticker ( Tribal Flame,Chrome) is the same as what I used on my RX7 but it is now chrome...I'll use one set on my coming drift racer body.....Tamiya's other newest sticker ,84035 Flex Sticker s(Carbon Pattern) also came with these...Both are super quality and I have got 2 sets both....

New Spur Gear
I got a Yeah Racing spur gear for my TA05 which I found at my LHS at a very cheap price. It is very identical to Tamiya 0.4 Module 105T Spur which I have on my TA05R.I'll use it with a Tamiya 0.4Module 34T pinion ... I know about the bad quality of YR but no problem since high quality 64Pitch spur and pinion gear combo is on the way ....

An Unlucky Day
Two days ago I went to practice with my practice car ,TA05.After I've set up a simple and long track with colourful cones,I started drifting.Nearly 2 minutes after I started drifting while adjusting the places of the cones to perfect fit the track suddenly I heard a strange sound, something like a clicking sound...I was sure that it was again a tiny gravel particle and went near the car and take off body from the chassis. What the problem occuring was a broken down rear belt... This is the first time in my career, years of using belt driven chassis...The belt was left over from my TA05R which was not at bad condition...No problem though I went to my LHS, http://www.team-ncrc.com/ and got myself new belts even I have a spare belt waiting in my parts' box...What a bad feeling though,go and can't drift more than 2 minutes and return....

Update About New Tamiya Optional Parts for TB03/TB03D
Item description; ''This Aluminum motor spacer creates a 3mm offset, and adds to the vehicles front weight balance and makes changes to drift settings. Also the slits on the spacer assist in motor heat dissipation.''
Very very interesting....I am surprised to see how Tamiya is thinking about very little details that have perfect results ....This is why I'm a big Tamiya fan...
This part can also be used on TT01D...

How Today Was...
Today's drift practice session ended nearly perfect.I really had fun while drifting after a long time.Laps were precise due to the new setup on the car was great enough to have perfect laps so easily...Drifting very close to cones(clipping points) and to walls near the road were just easy as keeping long drifts.Shaking tails were no problem both in short and long distances between corners.Brand new silver can was also very good, refreshment of the motor came great...As for the setup nothing new such as over-driving etc...It was just my old trustful setup for TA05R...Let me tell more about the body,I have never ever thought how beautiful a black car could be while drifting before I've seen today. It was really funny to see a dark BMW drift with nice angles...When compared to other bodies I've drifted before I really like how 320si handle and switchback smoothly.....Next step is to start upgrading my stock TA05 ..... : D
